Upload Your First Recording

Upload Your First Recording

Thank you for joining Versational! Let's get you started right away! First, let's upload your first recording.
If you connected already to  Zoom, Teams or Google Meet (enterprise) account, your first recording should be uploaded and you will have received a notification. If you're not connected yet, it takes 2-3 minutes. You can learn more about how integrations work here.   Otherwise, you can start with a simple upload. Watch this quick video:

To upload a recording, navigate to your 'Recordings' page (requires a login). This is also your home page. Select the 'Upload recording' button on the top right and browse for almost any file format.

Select an individual or multiple local files. While uploading, make sure your files are downloaded to your computer and are not located in 3rd party app storage, like Dropbox. While uploading, please do not leave the page. Uploading will only take a matter of seconds depending on the file size. During upload, please leave your Recordings page open until you receive a confirmation.

After your recording has uploaded, you will see a popup success message. This will tell you that the recording is now analyzing.

You will be able to see your analyzing progress bar and you will be able to cancel it at any time. While your recording is analyzing, you are free to move to other tabs or close the App.

Once your recording has been analyzed and your results are ready, we will notify you via email. Check out our article on viewing your results for your next step.
